Quick start with ChatRex
Use this guide to launch your first bot. Complete the required steps in order and verify the result of each step before moving on.
What you need
- access to a working email address;
- information about your company, products, or services;
- an account in the channel where the bot will answer customers;
- about 20–30 minutes for the first setup and test.
Required steps
- Sign up and sign in — create an account, confirm your email, and sign in.
- Create a bot — start with AI, a ready-made template, or a manual setup.
- Configure the bot logic — choose the model, connect knowledge, and write the main instruction.
- Connect channels — connect a messenger, CRM, or another source in Integrations.
- Set launch conditions — assign channels and define the working schedule.
- Configure behavior — set message handling, progress messages, greeting, and automatic stopping.
- Test and inspect History — test replies and review processing events.
- Check billing — top up the balance, activate a subscription, and review transactions.
Optional: integrations and actions
Configure Integrations and actions if the bot must create appointments, find orders, update CRM records, send files, or perform other operations. A simple support bot can skip this step until after the first launch.
Ready-to-launch checklist
- The main instruction is saved.
- At least one active channel is connected and assigned.
- Launch conditions do not conflict with another bot.
- The subscription is active.
- The test conversation completes without errors.
- A message sent through the real channel reaches the bot and receives the expected reply.
After each change, select Save changes and repeat the same test conversation. This makes it easier to see which setting changed the result.
