# Connect Webflow to ChatRex

Connect a published Webflow Ecommerce site to ChatRex for live product, SKU, price, inventory, and storefront-link lookup.

The Webflow integration gives a ChatRex assistant read-only access to the published catalog of one selected Webflow Ecommerce site. The assistant can search products and variants, retrieve current prices, check live inventory, and share public product links.

The connection uses the official ChatRex OAuth app. There is no archive, API key, or code snippet to install.

# Before you connect

Make sure you have:

  • access to the required Webflow Workspace and site;
  • Webflow Ecommerce enabled;
  • a published site with a public domain;
  • at least one published product and SKU.

ChatRex requests read-only access to Sites, CMS, and Ecommerce. It does not modify the catalog and does not request customers or orders.

# Connect the site

  1. In ChatRex, open Integrations.
  2. Select Connect integration, choose Webflow, and click Connect.
  3. Review the permissions on the Webflow authorization screen.
  4. Grant ChatRex access to the required Workspace or site.
  5. After Webflow redirects you back to ChatRex, select the published Ecommerce site.
  6. Confirm the connection and wait for the Connected status.
  7. Choose the integration subscription when ChatRex prompts you.

If the site is missing from the list, publish it in Webflow and confirm that Ecommerce and at least one product are available in the live site. Then run the connection again.

# Add assistant actions

Open the bot, go to Integrations and actions, and add any of these actions:

  • Search Webflow products — searches published products and SKUs by name, SKU, category, or options;
  • Get Webflow product — returns the selected published product, its variants, current prices, and image;
  • Check Webflow inventory — reads live inventory for an exact SKU;
  • Get Webflow product URL — returns the canonical product link on the selected published domain.

Use the exact product_id and variant_id returned by product search. If a product has multiple SKUs, the assistant should ask the customer to select a variant before checking inventory.

# Test the connection

  1. Open a published test product in Webflow.
  2. Ask the assistant to find that product in a ChatRex test chat.
  3. Compare the returned title, SKU, price, and currency with the live site.
  4. Check inventory for the exact variant.
  5. Open the returned storefront link in a separate window.

Only published products should appear, and the final URL should use the selected live domain.

# Disconnect

Open the Webflow integration settings in ChatRex and select Disconnect. ChatRex removes the site binding and revokes the app's OAuth access. Connect the app again if you need to restore access.
