Connect 1C-Bitrix: Site Management

Connect your 1C-Bitrix product catalog to ChatRex.

The ChatRex module sends your store's published product catalog to ChatRex. Your bot can find products, show prices and variants, check availability, and share product links. The module does not read customers or orders, place orders, or accept payments.

Requirements

You need an existing working online store running 1C-Bitrix: Site Management and access to its administration panel.

  • Supported configuration: 1C-Bitrix: Site Management, Small Business edition, main module 26.200.0, UTF-8, PHP 8.2 or later, and MySQL 8.0 or later. The iblock and catalog modules are required. The b_option settings table and the module's queue table must use InnoDB.
  • Administrator access to install and configure the module, a public HTTPS store domain, and at least one published product.
  • A ChatRex account. The module is free to install; the ChatRex integration subscription is purchased separately.

Install and connect

ChatRex is published in the 1C-Bitrix Marketplace.

  1. Copy your store's address. Open your store's home page as a customer would. Copy the address from the bar at the top of your browser, for example https://your-store.example. If you do not know the address or the administrator sign-in details, ask the person who manages your website.
  2. Open the ChatRex installer. Click Install from Marketplace in the 1C-Bitrix connection window in ChatRex. On the module page that opens, click the green Install button.
  3. Choose which store to install ChatRex in. Paste the address you copied into the field that shows https://, then click Install. Your store's administration panel opens. Sign in as an administrator and complete the installation. Read the terms shown by the installer and accept them if you agree.
  4. Connect the installed module. In your store's administration panel, open Settings → System settings → Module settings → ChatRex. Select your site and click Connect ChatRex. A single active site is selected automatically. If there are several sites, select the correct Storefront site and check its domain.
  5. Confirm the connection. ChatRex opens: sign in to your account and confirm the store. If a subscription is required, add it in the integration card that opens. Then return to the module in 1C-Bitrix and click I confirmed the connection.

If the module is already installed, start with step 4. You do not need to reinstall it.

When confirming, check the displayed store domain. Opening the link or signing in does not connect the store by itself. You do not need to share your site administrator password with ChatRex. Connecting the store does not activate a paid subscription automatically; creating a bot does not replace the subscription.

Check the connection

Wait for the first catalog synchronization, then check the connection status and Last sync on the module's main screen. Once connected, Open ChatRex takes you to your account's integrations.

In the bot editor, open Integrations and actions, select the connected store, and add the 1C-Bitrix actions. Test the response with a product from your store.

The module creates and removes the temporary domain verification file automatically. You do not need to copy a connection code or upload a verification file yourself.

Initial synchronization and subsequent product changes run through the site's background tasks. If a product is missing, check the last synchronization time, any error on the module's main screen, and the 1C-Bitrix agents. The bot reads the synchronized catalog; a product result does not reserve stock or create an order.

Update the module

Use the standard Marketplace update tools in your 1C-Bitrix administration panel. Do not uninstall the module before updating: the store connection and settings are preserved.

After updating, open the ChatRex module settings. Check the connection status, last synchronization time, and the bot's response for a product from your store.

Advanced settings

Open Advanced settings in the 1C-Bitrix module to check the synchronization queue, update the connection key, or disconnect the store. For a production store, ChatRex API URL must be https://app.chatrex.pro.

Verify and disconnect

Compare the bot's result with the product page: name, SKU, price and currency, availability of the selected variant, and product link. Hidden products must not appear in responses.

To disconnect, click Disconnect ChatRex in the module's Advanced settings. The synchronized catalog is removed from the ChatRex connection. If the site cannot reach ChatRex, also disconnect the integration in ChatRex. If you need help, contact support@chatrex.pro.
