Connect a personal Telegram account

This method lets ChatRex process messages sent to a regular Telegram account. If you need a separate Telegram bot, follow the Telegram bot guide.

Before you connect

• Keep a phone with access to the Telegram account nearby.
• Confirm that the phone number and country code are correct.
• Make sure the account is not connected through another incompatible integration.
• If the interface requires you to temporarily disable two-step authentication, turn it back on immediately after a successful connection.

Connect the account

1. Open Integrations.

2. Select Connect integration.

3. Select Telegram Personal Account.

4. Enter the phone number associated with Telegram.

5. Select Send the code.

6. Enter the code received in Telegram.

7. Select Connect and wait for the status to change to Connected.

Never share the confirmation code. Enter it only in the ChatRex connection form.

Assign the channel to a bot

Open My Bots → Change → Channels and launch, add the connected personal Telegram account, and save the changes.

Verify the result

Send a message to the connected account from another Telegram profile. Confirm that the conversation appears in Chats, that Telegram receives the reply, and that the processing event appears in History.

If the connection fails, request a new code and check the phone number and Telegram security settings.
