Actions Odoo
After connecting Odoo, the bot can use four operations with the published directory of the selected site.
Available action
Find Odoo products
Looks for published products and options by name, article, category or attributes. In one call, up to 20 results are returned and the following matches are indicated.
Use this action first when the customer describes the desired product in words. Save the received product and variant identifiers for the following operations.
Get Odoo merchandise
Returns the card of the found product: name, description, category, options, price, currency, availability and public reference.
Transmit the exact product_id obtained from the search. Do not substitute the product name instead of the identifier.
Check for Odoo availability
Verifies the availability, quantity, price and currency of a product or a particular option in the warehouse selected when connecting.
If the product has several options, the exact variant_id is required. Without it, ChatRex does not choose size, color or other modification for the client.
Get the Odoo link
Returns the public link of the goods of the selected site. If variant_id is specified, a reference of a particular variant is used when available.
Setting up
- Open My Bots and press Change.
- Go to Integrations and actions.
- Add the desired Odoo action.
- Choose Connected Integration if your account has more than one.
- Save the bot settings.
Recommended scenario
- Find products at the request of the customer.
- Clarify the desired option if there are several results or options.
- Get a card of the selected product.
- Check for a specific option.
- Report the confirmed price and balance.
- Send a public link to the product.
The data has the last synchronization time stamp. If the directory has not yet been synchronized or the source is temporarily unavailable, do not come up with a price and a balance - offer the client to repeat the check later.
Verification
In the test chat, ask the bot to find a published product with multiple options. Make sure that the bot refines the option, checks its remainder and sends a link to the selected Odoo site.
