# Google Calendar Connection

Integration allows the bot to receive calendar events and find free intervals for a selected period.

## Connection

1. Open **Integrations** and press **Connect integration**.
2. On the **Data Sources** tab, select **Google Calendar**.
3. Open **Connect** and press **Connect**.
4. Log in to the right Google account.
5. Check the rights requested and confirm access.
6. After returning, make sure that ChatRex displays **Connected** and the correct email.

## Set-up of action

Add the bot to get free windows or events. The period, working hours, time zone and format of the result are described in the article [**Actions Google Calendar**](<../../actions/integrations/google-calendar.md>).

## Verification

Create a test event on the calendar and ask the bot for the same period. Check that busy time is not considered free, and the time zone coincides with the schedule of the company.

Connect a working calendar or a separate calendar to record. Personal events can affect the calculation of free time.
