# Connecting imot.io

Integration transfers ChatRex dialogs to imot.io for analysis.

## Creating a ChatRex Key

1. Open **Settings** of your ChatRex account.
2. Find the **API key** block.
3. Press **Add the key**.
4. Copy the created value and save it in a protected place.

## Connection to imot.io

1. Enter imot.io.
2. Open **Integrations**.
3. Choose ChatRex.
4. Insert the API key.
5. Save the settings.

## Verification

Conduct a test dialog with the bot and make sure it shows up in imot.io. If no data is available, check the key, save settings, and have new dialogs after you connect.

The API key provides external access to ChatRex data. Do not send it in chat rooms or keep it in open documents. If the key is unlocked, delete it and create a new one.
