# Connecting a personal Telegram account

This method allows you to process messages of a regular Telegram account. If you need a separate Telegram bot, use the instruction [**Telegram bot**](<./Telegram (@BotFather).md>.

## Before connecting n

- Prepare a phone with access to Telegram;
- Check the correctness of the country number and code;
- Make sure your account is not connected to incompatible integration.
- If the interface requires you to temporarily disable two-step authentication, turn it back on immediately after a successful connection.

## Connection

1. Open **Integrations**.
2. Press **Connect integration**.
3. Select **Telegram Personal Account**.

4. Enter the phone number associated with Telegram.
5. Press **Send the code**.
6. Enter the code received in Telegram.
7. Press **Connect** and wait for the status **Connected**.

Don't tell anyone the code you received. ChatRex only requests it in the connection form.

## Designation of the channel

Open **My Bots → Change → Channels and Launch**, add a personal Telegram account and save the changes.

## Verification

Send a message to your connected account from another profile. Check receipt in **Chats**, reply in Telegram and entry in **History**.

If the connection is not established, request a new code, check the number and security settings Telegram.

A personal account is used for normal correspondence. Comply with Telegram restrictions and do not launch unwanted mass messages.
