# Connecting a MAX account with a QR code

The integration transmits incoming MAX messages to the ChatRex bot and returns its responses to the user.

This connection is for the MAX account. If you have an official bot built on the MAX partner platform, use a separate integration [**MAX Bot**](<./MAX Bot.md>).

## Before connecting n

Prepare your phone with an authorized MAX app and make sure it’s connected to the internet.

## Connection

1. Open **Integrations**.
2. Click **Connect integration** and select **MAX** in the **Channels** tab.
3. Open **Connect**.
4. Press **Scan the QR code** and wait for it to appear.
5. On your phone, open **MAX → Profile → Devices**.
6. Press **Login to QR** and scan the code from the ChatRex screen.
7. Wait for the status **Connected**.

## Designation of a botoo channel

1. Open **My Bots** and press **Change**.
2. Go to **Channels and Launch**.
3. Press **Add channel** and select MAX by QR code.
4. Set up conditions and working hours.
5. Save the changes.

## Verification

Send a test message from another MAX account. It should appear in ChatRex, and the bot’s answer is to return to the messenger.

If the message is not processed, check the connection status, subscription activity, channel assignment, and bot schedule.
