# Telegram connection to amoCRM

ChatRex Lite supports two options for working with Telegram:

- **Telegram** - connecting a personal account;
- **Telegram Bot** is the connection of the created Telegram bot.

Once connected, messages arrive in amoCRM, are stored in history, and can be used in Digital Pipeline, Salesbot, and cascading.

## Before connecting n

Make sure that:

- ChatRex Lite widget is installed and authorized.
- You have access to a connected Telegram account;
- for Telegram Bot created a bot and received a token from BotFather;
- The account or bot is not connected to another ChatRex account.

## Connecting a personal Telegram

1. Open the ChatRex Lite widget settings.
2. Go to **Channels**.
3. Press **Connect channel** and select **Telegram**.
4. Perform the authorization actions shown in the connection window.
5. Wait for the status **Connected**.

## Telegram Bot connection

1. Create a bot through BotFather and copy the token.
2. Under **Channels**, click **Connect channel**.
3. Select **Telegram Bot**.
4. Insert the token and confirm the connection.
5. Wait for the status **Connected**.

Do not publish the Telegram Bot token and do not transfer it to outsiders. If the token has been disclosed, re-release it via BotFather.

## Activation of the subscription

After connecting, open the **Subscriptions** section and check the status of Telegram. If the subscription is not active, select the rate and activate the channel.

## Set up new deals

In the channel settings, select:

- amoCRM for new applications;
- name of the transaction being created.

To use the amoCRM field value in the title, type `@` and select the variable.

## Verification of work

1. Send a test message to your personal account or Telegram Bot.
2. Make sure the chat appears in amoCRM.
3. Answer from the transaction or contact card.
4. Check the delivery of the response to Telegram.

## If Telegram is not connected

- Check the correctness of the Telegram Bot token;
- Make sure that the bot is not removed and the token has not been withdrawn;
- repeat the authorization of the personal account;
- Check if this account or bot is connected to another service.
- Check the subscription status of ChatRex Lite.
