# MODX Commerce actions

First [connect MODX + miniShop2](../../integrations/cms/modx.md) and complete a successful catalog synchronization. In the bot editor, add the required actions under **Integrations and actions** and select the connected store.

| Action | Result |
| --- | --- |
| Search products | Find published products by name, SKU, category or available options |
| Get product | Retrieve the details of a selected published product |
| Check inventory | Check product-level price, currency, availability and stock |
| Get product URL | Return the public storefront link for a product |

These actions read the synchronized catalog. They do not create orders, change products or process payments. Recent changes appear after a successful sync. If the store does not track stock, do not interpret availability as a confirmed quantity.

Test a known product and an item that does not exist. Compare the bot's answer with the storefront, and make sure it does not invent products or promise to place an order. Configure a [communication channel](../../integrations/channels/index.md) separately to receive customer messages.
